Hi! I'm Liz, an experienced independent wedding celebrant based in Brixworth, Northamptonshire. I create and conduct warm, relaxed and completely bespoke wedding ceremonies for couples who want something more personal than a traditional ceremony. 

With 150+ ceremonies created and officiated, and previous experience as a wedding registrar, I know how to combine professionalism with personality - making sure that your ceremony feels effortless, meaningful, and unmistakably yours.

Hi, I'm Liz!

I absolutely love what I do!

I've spent many years working in the wedding industry, including several years as a wedding registrar for my local authority, before becoming an independent celebrant.

In 2019 I achieved the NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Celebrancy: Naming and Couples, the highest qualification for independent celebrants, and joined the Association of Independent Celebrants.

Since then, I've created and officiated more than 150 wedding ceremonies.

But here's what really matters, I don't believe that your ceremony should sound exactly like anybody else's.

Some couples want romance and happy tears. Some want laughter and a little mischief. Some want traditional elements, while others want something completely different.

There is no right way to do your ceremony.

There is only your way.

I'll get to know you both, listen to your stories, discover what makes you both tick, and then turn all of that into a ceremony that feels completely authentic to you.

My style is warm, relaxed, professional, and fun. I'll take care of the detail, keep everything running smoothly and be there to reassure you when the inevitable little wedding day wobble happens.

And when I'm not writing ceremonies or standing beside couples on their big day, you'll probably find me hunting down a good coffee and cake.

After all, a celebrant needs fuel!
